Mental health is a crucial aspect of overall wellbeing for South Asian students. Several organizations, not affiliated with Princeton University, provide culturally-sensitive support:
- South Asian Mental Health Initiative & Network (SAMHIN): Offers resources including a provider directory, support groups, and a confidential helpline.
- National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Asian Support Group: Provides free twice-monthly virtual support groups for Asian Americans, including South Asians, living with mental health challenges.
